Product Description

Tasting notes

Nice fresh cabernet flavor with plenty of fruit, soft tannins and a long, lingering finish.

This wine is a little lighter than 2007 and 2008.

Food pairing notes

A Pinot Lover’s Cabernet – showing ample fruit and body. It will make an excellent Thanksgiving accompaniment as it will not overpower Turkey and all the other yummy Thanksgiving Fixins!

Vineyard notes

The famed Monte Rosso Vineyard’s 250 acres are located 1300’ above sea level on the southwest side of the Mayacamas Range. The vineyard historically produces wines with high acid, due to the volcanic influence and the minerally Red Hill Loam soil.
